The great tit (Parus
major) is a passerine bird in the tit family "Paridae". It is a widespread and
common species throughout Europe,
the Middle East, Central and Northern Asia,
and parts of North Africa. The great tit is a distinctive bird
with a black head and neck, prominent white cheeks, olive upper parts and
yellow under parts, with some variation among the numerous subspecies.
The fairy
pitta (Pitta nympha) is a small and brightly coloured passerine bird that mainly feeds on earthworms, spiders, insects, slugs, and snails. It is also called “little forest angel” in Taiwan and “eight coloured bird" in Japan, Taiwan, North
Korea and South
Korea. The
fairy pitta breeds in East Asia and migrates south to winter in Southeast
Asia. This bird is classified as vulnerable on The IUCN
Red List of Threatened Species
